When we got engaged, we thought about using a planner but decided that we wanted to do it all ourselves. We thought that finding the perfect venue would be easy, then wed book cars, cake, and photos and we were basically done well, bar my dress. However when we started to look at venues it became a nightmare - with us both working we found it hard to get to see and speak to places. Some would only see us during the week, others didnt call me back and I was too busy to chase them up. We sat there one weekend and we both realised that we were beginning to dread talking about the wedding - we had lost our enthusiasm.

It was at this point we decided to hire a planner. We spoke to several, but when we spoke to Amanda & Karen we just clicked - they just knew what we wanted. They listened to us, our ideas and what we wanted our wedding to be like. We gave them a budget and they went away and came back with plans, figures and some fantastic ideas.

Hiring a planner was the best thing we did. It was the best money we spent, dont let the cost put you off as its worth every penny. It was not as expensive as we thought it would be and they saved us money through their ideas and contacts.
